Britney's at it again!

With her big come back just around the corner [Concert in Vancouver is on April 8th @ GM Place] Britney is under fire again, and this time with PETA.

Campaigners for the organization have accused Spears of abuse for keeping elephants in a cage while taping her video for "Circus". A PETA statement said: "As Britney is such a victim of the paparazzi and always complaining and crying about how she hates to be held up in her guarded house and can't feel free, she of all people should be able to relate to the horror that captive animals go through when they're used for entertainment". No comment from Spears' camp has been issued.

Diva Mariah Carey is expecting her first child with husband Nick Cannon-or are they?? Carey was apparently coming out of a gynecologist's office with what looked to be a sonogram in her hand. At first I was laughing histerically when I heared Carey and Cannon had wed after only knowing each other for 6 weeks...but now after the following statement she had issued about her relationship with Cannon, I am laughing histerically yet again but tears are also flowing down my face due to the extent of my laughter: "We kind of knew from the beginning that we were going to get married. It's hard to describe but we knew immediately. I know people are going to be like, 'There's no way!' but neither of us had any doubts that we were truly meant for each other. He is my soulmate". We'll see Mariah...we'll see :)

On a brighter note: The Dark Knight was finally released on DVD and Blu-Ray Disc yesterday for all you Batman fans, as well...there is nothing I have to say about Brangelina this time :D YAY!!

As much as I find it annoying to continuously blab about Brangelina, some good news that is coming out of all their hoopla is that Angelina is going to be retiring from the big screen to focus on her family...and to "get ready to be a grandma one day"-ummmm, WTF?! Seriously? Who in the world retires to "focus" on being a grandmother? Her oldest child is not even 10 yet!!! Jolie also states: "I'm not so worried that I want to keep this pace up and try to be something and be a celebrity." For some strange reason, I think that is quite impossible to do considering YOU'RE PARTNER IS BRAD PITT!!

Former Death Row Records boss, Suge Knight is taking legal action against Kanye West for a 2005 shooting that shattered a leg bone on Knight, where he was also robbed of a 15 karat $135,000 diamond earring-15 KARATS ON ONE EAR LOBE?????? I'm sorry but HOLY SH*T!! Knight is blaming West for allowing a gun to get by security at a pre-MTV Video Music Awards party he was attending.

Kanye West is making news in other ways as well-let's take it back one year ago. Remember how West threw a hissy fit at the 2007 MTV Europe Awards because he didn't win an award...well now he's throwing a tantrum because he did win-weird I know, but it's Kanye so go figure. West claims that it should have in fact been Lil' Wayne to win the "Best Urban Act Award" because "it was his year". On top of throwing a little girly hissy fit that he should not have won, he also thought that Britney Spears and Jared Leto shouldn't have won either, he adds: "Britney Spears over Rihanna? Are you serious? I mean f**king Jared Leto? He's my boy but he shouldn't have won over some of those other artists". He probably thought RiHOnna deserved the award only because she cheated on cutie patutie Chris Brown with his a**. I'm not trying to be biased but then again I probably am, but this was Britney's year Kanye, so suck it up and move on-idiot! Also, by the way-the floor is not a toilet moron!

New Kids on the Block come into Vancouver for a show at GM Place with Natasha Bedingfield and Lady Gaga as their opening act, and I definitely can't wait! I will be there with bells on and singing along to the classics-because their new stuff is kind of lacking. Speaking of Lady Gaga, is it just me or is she pulling off the super bleached blonde locks with blunt bangs really well? Well, Christina Aguilera thinks so...oh wait! She doesn't even know who "this Lady Gaga person is". Apparently, Gaga fans everywhere are fuming that Aguilera is imitating Gaga's look. Well, she did come out with the look before Aguilera-however; when asked in an interview with the "LA Times" how she felt about the rumours that she is or may be copying Gaga's looks Christina responds: "You know, that's funny that you mention that. This person [Lady Gaga] was just brought to my attention not too long ago. I'm not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don't know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasn't sure. I really don't spend any time on the Internet, so I guess I live a little under a rock in that respect." Let me be the first to say shut the f*ck up! You can honestly tell me when you hear the name LADY GAGA...hence LADY you can't tell if it's a man or a woman?! Are you that stupid? Are you that big of a moron? YES...YES YOU ARE! The verdict is, Christina you copied her look and now your being called out on it. Be a woman and at least admit what you did dumbass!

Are these people still in highschool?!?!

The latest issue of Vogue magazine has Hollywood's sweetheart on the cover-Jennifer Aniston. In it, has an interview that we have all been waiting for since Brangelina first started. If you're not in the loop yet, then here is a brief summary of Aniston vs Jolie:

Jennifer Aniston was married to Brad Pitt. Angelina Jolie appeared in a movie with Brad Pitt called "Mr. & Mrs. Smith", while Pitt was still married to Aniston. Tabloids everywhere started to claim that Jolie and Pitt had a "romantic relationship", while Pitt was still married to Aniston. Jolie states she "will never be attracted to a man who is married and would cheat on his wife". Aniston states that the rumours are false. Pitt does the same. Jolie and Pitt's movie premieres and to everyones surprise Pitt files for divorce from Aniston. Jolie and Pitt start to make public appearances together but still claim "nothing is going on". Pitt then decides to be the legal guardian and co-sign the birth certificates of Jolie's then 2 adopted children...yet-still claims that "nothing is going on". Jolie and Pitt tell the public how much they love each other...and then go on to adopt 1 more child, and have 3 biological children of their own. Jolie then tells the public that she started to "fall in love" with Pitt while filming "Mr. & Mrs. Smith"-vice versa...mind you, he was STILL married to Aniston during the filming. Aniston is now "opening old wounds" as stated by both Jolie and Pitt, appears on the cover of the latest issue of Vogue magazine and tells the public and vogue readers everywhere of how "uncool" Jolie is...which leads us up to now:

First of all, I couldn't stop laughing when I heard Jennifer Aniston used the word "uncool" in an interview...and on top of that to describe somebody! What are we 15?! Second and lastly I understand the fact that Aniston feels vindicated after how she suspected what was going on between Jolie and Pitt right from the get-go and is almost ALLOWED to say whatever she wants. Hell, I'd say a lot more than "uncool"-my interpretation of Aniston's "uncool" is "BITCH YOU DID ME DIRTY". I advise you all to read the full article in Vogue because it's THAT good.

However; Brad Pitt in turn is furious at Aniston and made this [alleged] awkward phone call to Aniston's P.R. agent...WARNING: If you thought "uncool" was hilarious, you might want to go pee now before reading the following paragraph:

"Ya hi, it's Brad Pitt. I used to be married to your client, Jennifer Aniston. She's an actress? Anyway, I don't know if you saw, but she's got this Vogue thing coming out where she says a few things about my kids' ma. Would you be so kind as to tell her to shove Vinnnie Vaughn's socks in it? Ok, thanks man." -Brad Pitt

Now, I'm not saying he did place that phone call nor am I saying he didn't but when The Chicago Sun Times asked the agent if that phone call did in fact take place he responded: "That's personal information and is nobody's business"...I'll take that as a YES!!!

In a way, I am so glad that this "beef" is finally getting where it was suppose to get to years ago and that a chick fight is just around the corner, but-now we have to endure endless magazine cover's with Aniston, Jolie & Pitt's face plastered all over them..........OH WAIT! We were doing that anyway...let the good times roll!

Ok...this won't happen again, PROMISE!

So...technically most of you probably want to kill me for not giving you the full Madonna concert review ASAP...and for the last time I do apologize for the delay. Rather than making excuses of how STUPID BUSY I actually am...I'm just going to go ahead and write...

Madonna was in town October 30th to play a sold out show at BC Place...how was it you ask? Well...to be sitting 8th row centre stage at a Madonna concert was pretty UNBELIEVABLE. If you heard my screams, you would have thought I was being murdered or something, fortunately I wasn't :)

Madge opened up her show with "Candy Shop" and rocked out for 2 solid hours! Also, during Madge's concert some A-list celebrities made cameo appearances, among them was Pharrell of N.E.R.D, Kanye West, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. Madonna wowed the audience with her new found talent(s)-playing the acoustic & electric guitars!

What did I think when Madonna first stepped out on stage? "HOLY GEEZ, HER THIGHS ARE AMAZING"!!! You think Madonna looks fit on TV? You need to see her live-the woman looks absolutely amazing for 50! Hell, she looks better than I do at 23...well almost 24 ;)

The stage was typical Madge, with a run-way like pull out. What was amazing was how her DJ's booth was able to move across the stage from one end to the other...of course-there was a stripper pole on top of the DJ's booth...well, it is Madonna right? The show wouldn't be complete without Madonna making 8 costume changes...all of which in my opinion looked similar to the previous outfit she was wearing. Nothing special really, which was a disappointment because you go to a Madonna concert looking forward to "mind blowing" costumes.

Another disappointment was that she didn't sing enough of her old tunes. Don't get me wrong-the show was still 150% amazing, but I'd prefer if she performed more of her older stuff than her new stuff at her concert. Just my opinion that's all :)

Her dancer's I have to say were a great addition to her show, pumping up the audience while Madge was changing into another outfit. What was the best part? Hmmmm, there were a few:

5.) Madonna asking a young female in the audience if she was a virgin before getting 55,000 people to sing "Like a Virgin" with her with no back up music
4.) Her video to show her support for Barack Obama-congratulations by the way :)
3.) Madonna taking off a wedding veil of one of her female dancers

1.) HER FINALE!!!

Madonna is a diva...plain and simple and she's proud of it. She doesn't need to bow to the audience at the end of every show...her goal is to leave them wanting more-AND WE DID!! Her finale was to "Give it to Me" where near the end Madge went to the top of her staircase with the last few words of her song [Give it to me...go figure] and the screen had two words...GAME OVER. Where was Madonna? Gone...because for her it's GAME OVER! I wanted an encore soooo bad it hurt, but again-this is Madonna. I've never wanted an encore from any other concert except for this one, it was THAT good :D

All in all-I can die a happy camper now that I got to see my idol in concert. My next goal-an interview with her!! It'll happen, one day...just watch :)

WOW!! It was just a few months ago when I was waiting in line at a ticketmaster around 3am to get Madonna tickets...and now the time has finally come, MADONNA IS HERE LIVE IN VANCOUVER AT BC PLACE TOMORROW!!!!!!! As you can tell I am super stoked...and can't wait to give you all the full review. If any of you are also curious to knowing, the official Madonna afterparty is going to be held at Celebrities nightclub [Davie Street] where a good friend of mine "Trixie" is hosting "The Candy Shop"...you definitely want to be a part of Madonna central!

In other news regarding Madge, well...it's official-she is getting a divorce from her husband Guy Ritchie after 8 years of marriage. The two have 1 biological and 1 adopted son, and a daughter[mini Madonna] that Madonna had in a previous relationship. If you're thinking at all this is an amicable divorce, then you are WRONG! Umm, hello?? This is Madonna! This woman is worth well over 500 million dollars and did not sign a pre-nup!! Things are only going to start getting interesting from now on.

In other news [although I am waaaaay to excited about Madonna to even care about what else is going on right now] Jennifer Aniston and boy toy John Mayer are back together...but-she has a set of rules this time around. He is not allowed to talk to any paparazzi regarding their "private" lives, he is to start paying for his own way around the table and [this is my favourite]...whatever she says...GOES! Go Jenn, you show this sucker what your made of and then dump his ass!

Speaking of Jennifer Aniston-Angelina Jolie has finally confirmed what Ms.Aniston had thought all this while...SHE WAS THE OTHER WOMAN!! Basically, while filming "Mr & Mrs Smith" with Brad Pitt [whom was married to Jennifer at the time] she confirmed that her and Brad did in fact "fall in love" while filming the movie. Ok, personally I don't like either actresses but when one bitch comes and steals another bitches man...that's where I draw the line-you my friend are a slut-period. For somebody who had a father who cheated on their mother, you would think they would know better right? Psshh, stupid girl!

In sad news, Jennifer Hudson's mother and brother were found shot dead in their home. You think it couldn't get any worse, it does. Hudson's 7 year old nephew had been missing for a few days, up until police found a black male boy shot dead in an SUV in Chicago. Police later confirmed that the boy was indeed Hudson's nephew, where she later identified the body. Police are searching for the boy's father [Hudson's sister's estranged husband] whom was nowhere to be found during this incident. I honestly hope they find this bastard and give him the death penalty because there's nothing more cowardly than a grown man killing innocent children and the elderly. You just don't do that!! It sickens me and my heart goes out to the Hudson family in their time of need.

French Actor Guillaume Depardieu, 37, died suddenly Sunday evening from complications of pneumonia. Guillaume was the son of French mega movie star Gerard Depardieu, where he was also named the most promising young actor at the Cesar Awards [France's Academy Awards] for his role in "Les Apprentis".

Movie director Steven Spielberg and his studio "Dreamworks" has now signed on with Universal Pictures, breaking off with Paramount. Reason being?? To keep it simple...HE WAS COSTING PARAMOUNT TOO MUCH $$$

So we all thought that Star Jones' feud with the ladies of "The View" was over...wrong!! In an interview with Essence Magazine, Jones quotes: "She set me up" [referring to Barbara Walters in conspiring against her] and also claims how the gastric bypass procedure she had undergone "saved" her life...ummm...ok Star, whatever you say darling.

Don't forget to check out the latest edition of W Magazine where the mother of all mother's, Angelina Jolie is on the cover, not to mention intimate pictures of Jolie's breasts where hunk [do people still say that] Brad Pitt had taken of her while breast-feeding one of the tator tots of the Jolie-Pitt clan.

After all the speculation that Eva Longoria-Parker was pregnant because of a "massive" weight gain in the petite starlets frame, the truth of the matter is...she's NOT! Longoria admits to getting "rounder" and more *ahem* "fuller figured" [trying extremely hard to contain my laughter] where she admits to going up from a size double zero...to just a zero. Ohhh, so I get it finally!! She's not pregnant...she's anorexic!! Eat a sandwich dummy!

Sorry for the long delay...but I'm back :D

First and foremost, I'd like to apologize for my every so long delay to update all of you on the scoop with what's going on in Hollywood and with whom. Second; well...there is nothing else left to say but here's your latest buzz around Hollywood...enjoy!!

Alright, so a lot has gone on since I've last updated my blog, for instance Paul Newman passing away, Britney Spears' alleged sex tape [like that's original] Heather Locklear getting arrested for a DUI, Scarlette Johansson and Vancouver's own Ryan Reynolds tying the knot right here at home and not to forget...the ever so disorganized and boring Emmy Awards. I'm not going to talk about that though, what I'm going to talk about is how there are only 25 days left until my idol, the iconic MADONNA comes to Vancouver for her "Sticky and Sweet Tour" at BC Place Stadium on October 30th!!! I'll definitely be counting down the days as well as giving you the full concert review...with pictures of course!

Shock jock Howard Stern has FINALLY tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Beth Ostrosky this past Friday. Ummm...wasn't this the same guy that would have adult actresses on his radio show and would ask them to perform sexual acts on one another?!? What a lucky gal eh!!! That marriage has ALL the signs of lasting *ahem*

36 year old Christina Applegate [best known for Kelly on "Married with Children"] has survived breast cancer, where the star had to undergo a double mastectomy. Despite the life changing ordeal, Applegate still keeps her sense of humour by looking on the brighter side of things-not wearing a bra!

Jessica Simpson and quarterback boy toy Tony Romo are apparently ring shopping. With months shy from their one year anniversary, the couple are reportedly shopping for engagement rings, where witnesses say they have spotted the two at Neiman Marcus in Dallas. Jessica states to People magazine "To be my man, you have to put up with a lot...I toot under the sheets, I spend a lot of money and I can belch the ABCs." TMI Jessica...TMI!!

And is it just me...or do Lindsay Lohan and her partner Samantha Ronson look as if they could be sisters?? Am I the only one who got REALLY uncomfortable when the pair were photographed in teeny tiny bikinis?? They seriously look like they could be related!! M'eh...ciao for now dudes!

2008 MTV Video Music Awards

Sunday September 7th was one of the biggest nights in the music industry-The 25th Annual MTV Video Music Awards.

The show I have to say was something I've been looking forward to for weeks, and for one reason...BRITNEY SPEARS!! She cleaned out the awards by winning not one...not two...but THREE Moonman Awards for: Best Female Video, Best Pop Video & Video of the Year for her hot single "Piece of Me", where the entire audience gave the Princess of Pop a standing ovation. Britney by all means looked like her old self again, wear she wore two sexy glittery numbers that flattered her new tanned and toned body-not to mention her hair/makeup/skin looked absolutely flawless, which probably made Rihanna bow down after her laughing at Brit-Brit at the VMA's last year. All I have to say on behalf of Britney fans everywhere...welcome back vintage Britney-WE CAN'T WAIT FOR YOUR NEW ALBUM!!

The show was held at the Paramount Lot in Hollywood, California where it was opened up with Britney performing a comedy skit with Jonah Hill [Superbad] which led into the nights first performance by Rihanna singing her hit "Disturbia", where she came out to the stage what looked like a staircase-like dress that opened up to expose the singers less than flattering thighs-though I have to say her beau Chris Brown looked mighty fine in a white jacket and baby blue tie. He walked away with the award for Best Male Video for his single "With You".

The host for the evening was the flamboyant comedian Russell Brand *tumble weed* WHO?!? My question exactly! Apparently he's some "big" name in the UK, who I personally thought did a great job hosting the VMA's...even if he did make a reference about President Bush being a "retarded cowboy", and calling the Jonas Brothers out on their "so-called" pledge to remain virgins until marriage-Pshh! I was laughing!!

Presenters included: Jamie Foxx, Demi Moore, 8 time Olympic gold medalist Michael "The Aquaman" Phelps, Lindsay Lohan, Ciarra, Slash, Shia LeBeouf, Miley Cirus, Pete & Ashley Wentz [and their unborn child], Slipknot, John Legend, Jordan Sparks, The cast from highschool musical [Ashley Tisdell, Vanessa Hudgens, Zack Efron, & Corbin Bleu], Lauren Conrad, Chace Crawford, Paris Hilton & the infamous yet very hot Kobe Bryant who presented the last award for the evening.

The biggest shocker or should I say "shocker" was when Tokio Hotel beat out Katie Perry for Best New Artist for their song "Ready, Set, Go!" Katie Perry clearly had a better year and a far better single ["I Kissed a Girl"] than Tokio Hotel. Your the best in my books Katie! You can win the first ever: Media Princess Award for: "I was screwed at the VMA's but I have this no-name award to prove that I kick a**"

As the night rocked on with DJ AM [Nicole Richie's Ex-Boyfriend] and Travis Barker [Former drummer for Blink 182] collaborating on some great beats for the audience, and live performances by: The Jonas Brothers, Katie Perry, Lil Wayne [Ft. T-Pain & Leona Lewis], P!NK, T.I [Ft.Rihanna], Christina Aguilera [whom by the way looks ridiculously gorgeous after having a baby only eight months ago-but also resembled Lady Gaga & Britney Spears a bit with her new hair and makeup], LL Cool J, and Kid Rock [Ft.Lil Wayne]. The icing on the cake was Kanye West ending the VMA's with a new single and more importantly...WEARING A MODEST LOOKING SUIT! On top of him looking normal, he wasn't acting like "Kanye"-he seemed humble. I was impressed-yet a tad bit disappointed...there was no drama this year!

All in all, the MTV VMA's were as usual interesting, funny, and of course will be on repeat for the next twenty-five days...so in case you missed it, they will always be on! As for me, there was no performance that I was looking forward to-unlike last year where everybody was awaiting for the much anticipated come back performance by Britney Spears which of course disappointed MANY!

Whatever! The past is the past, and Ms.Spears is back and ready to reclaim her title...go Britney!
