Ok...this won't happen again, PROMISE!

So...technically most of you probably want to kill me for not giving you the full Madonna concert review ASAP...and for the last time I do apologize for the delay. Rather than making excuses of how STUPID BUSY I actually am...I'm just going to go ahead and write...

Madonna was in town October 30th to play a sold out show at BC Place...how was it you ask? Well...to be sitting 8th row centre stage at a Madonna concert was pretty UNBELIEVABLE. If you heard my screams, you would have thought I was being murdered or something, fortunately I wasn't :)

Madge opened up her show with "Candy Shop" and rocked out for 2 solid hours! Also, during Madge's concert some A-list celebrities made cameo appearances, among them was Pharrell of N.E.R.D, Kanye West, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. Madonna wowed the audience with her new found talent(s)-playing the acoustic & electric guitars!

What did I think when Madonna first stepped out on stage? "HOLY GEEZ, HER THIGHS ARE AMAZING"!!! You think Madonna looks fit on TV? You need to see her live-the woman looks absolutely amazing for 50! Hell, she looks better than I do at 23...well almost 24 ;)

The stage was typical Madge, with a run-way like pull out. What was amazing was how her DJ's booth was able to move across the stage from one end to the other...of course-there was a stripper pole on top of the DJ's booth...well, it is Madonna right? The show wouldn't be complete without Madonna making 8 costume changes...all of which in my opinion looked similar to the previous outfit she was wearing. Nothing special really, which was a disappointment because you go to a Madonna concert looking forward to "mind blowing" costumes.

Another disappointment was that she didn't sing enough of her old tunes. Don't get me wrong-the show was still 150% amazing, but I'd prefer if she performed more of her older stuff than her new stuff at her concert. Just my opinion that's all :)

Her dancer's I have to say were a great addition to her show, pumping up the audience while Madge was changing into another outfit. What was the best part? Hmmmm, there were a few:

5.) Madonna asking a young female in the audience if she was a virgin before getting 55,000 people to sing "Like a Virgin" with her with no back up music
4.) Her video to show her support for Barack Obama-congratulations by the way :)
3.) Madonna taking off a wedding veil of one of her female dancers
2.) Madonna air humping her electric guitar Jimmy Hendrix style
1.) HER FINALE!!!

Madonna is a diva...plain and simple and she's proud of it. She doesn't need to bow to the audience at the end of every show...her goal is to leave them wanting more-AND WE DID!! Her finale was to "Give it to Me" where near the end Madge went to the top of her staircase with the last few words of her song [Give it to me...go figure] and the screen had two words...GAME OVER. Where was Madonna? Gone...because for her it's GAME OVER! I wanted an encore soooo bad it hurt, but again-this is Madonna. I've never wanted an encore from any other concert except for this one, it was THAT good :D

All in all-I can die a happy camper now that I got to see my idol in concert. My next goal-an interview with her!! It'll happen, one day...just watch :)
